They're pretty comfortable for a double-oak leather sole with stacked heal. Be warned, if your feet sweat a lot, these boots do not breath at all! The leather will also stain your socks. I had to use leather softener to break them in, even with wearing them 2-3 times a week. They're pretty stout boots, I could get at least 3-5 years out of them (after having them resoled). I usually wear a 9.5E in dress shoes, but the 9.5D offered is plenty wide. They are attractive and work with most clothes (i.e. jeans and suit pants). They are a narrow foot fit which will mean it will be uncomfortable for moderately wide feet. I bought with this in mind and have had to stuff paper into the inside to help widen the fit. |
