4.0 out of 5 stars Nice boots, HORRIBLE laces, April 14, 2009

I like the boots, but I've never seen a worse pair of shoe laces! After two months the shoe laces turned into this snagging mess of white cords and black twine. The lace is a jet black webbing around a very strong white inner cord, but too soon the outer black part had holes wore in it and the white cord would loop out at odd intervals. Tying the things became a pain and they were always threatening to snag on items in the environment. Oh and they looked real dorky too. You'd think the world would have mastered shoe lace technology by now. Anyway, still a good pair of dressier looking boots, but buy a GOOD pair of 60 inch laces to go with them.
