I require a steel toe (or equivalent) for work, and since I am always kicking my shoes off instead of untying them, they wear out much more quickly. I've not been able to find a comfortable slip on that stands up in the harsh manufacturing environment in which I work.So far, these shoes are great! very comfy and I didnt have to break them in, as they were comfy from day one. I had Muriatic acid spill in a chemical store that I ran.... an it dripped down the base of my pant legs soaked the shoe.... I took everything off instantly as I could.... An washed with base neutral what w/PH 7.0 helped to salvage them alittle but the acid just ruined the base rubbed of the shoes an shortly in the later part of the year purchasing them I had to toss them an got a new pair, god a new job too ! an now I am on there first year an they are holding up quite well I hope to get atleast another 2-3 years I hope. 1 of 2 people found the following review helpful  Not happy, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: WORX by Red Wing Shoes Men's Non-Metalic Safety Toe Loafer (Apparel) Not comfortable at all.
