5.0 out of 5 stars One Amazing Pair of Boots!, December 7, 2010
I love my red wing boots, they are super tough, super comfortable, and they will last a lifetime. I couldn't have asked for more. One thing I would definitely recommend if you get these boots is to get the red wing all natural mink oil and oil the boots every other month or every month depending on where you wear them, I wear mine everywhere, shooting, camping, out and about, and I usually oil mine every month. I highly recommend this though as it will keep your boots clean and looking new, and water resistant. So, if you are looking for a well made, comfortable boot that will last many many years look no further. Also I don't know why amazon refers to these boots as motorcycle boots, I assume you can wear them for motorcycling but the boot itself is called the Red Wing 877.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great shoes! Why you should buy!, November 20, 2012
Verified Purchase( What's this?)
So I just got my pair of boots, and primarily I got these boots for several reasons, I wanted something USA made, Price point not an issue for me, because you get what you pay for right? This boot is amazing on all fronts, Its just well made, yeah the break in period will probably destroy your feet, but once this process is done, nothing else will feel as comfortable, one other reason that I got this boot is because of the sole, I really wanted a boot that when the sole wears out I can bring it to a redwing store and they will be able to resole it, I live in Brooklyn and they have an official official Redwing store in Queens where you can have the shoe resoled,That was my primary reason, I had or better said have a pair of Timberlands and I've heard you can resole them, But Where? So there they sit lonely until I find that magical place to be resoled. But Back to Redwing, Yes you can have them resoled thats the magic of this shoe, Google it and you can probably find a center to do... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Manly boots for manly men., December 28, 2014
Being 17 I thought maybe these boots were too old fashioned for me, and the thought of spending a good chunk of my summer earnings on a pair of boots frightened me quite honestly. But here I am with an amazing pair of boots that will last me years to come. It has been three months since my purchase and im obsessed with them, theyre more comfortable than my nike free runs, roshes, and air max. (Theyre tough as nails too, i abuse them on the daily in fact the sole has saved my feet from quite a few rusty nails) I followed the instructions of others to buy a half size to full size down and I did. They fit perfectly. After playing hockey for over 10 years the break in process didn't scare me because you break hockey skates in barefoot and years of that have turned my feet to the consistency of a brick. With that being said they're broken in and I cannot find an occasion where I don't wear them not to mention all the compliments I get. They're lightweight too. I read one review where one...
