Excellent workmanship and materials.Bought the oxford or moccasin, and they were so comfortable and well made I bought the Chukka. Can wear these in warm weather without socks, they are leather lined, not with some artificial machine made material that does not breathe! Nothing like a good old "made in US" shoe. Mid-weight Vibram sole is great for damp weather without the weight of a winter boot. I actually still have (and wear) them all. When I saw that Red Wing decided to make a casual/outdoor boot, I had to have it, especially since the price was so deeply discounted. The boots look and feel the way I expected. My disappointment is with the stitching around the toe: I bought these for a trip to NYC where I expected to be covering a lot of ground, which I did. I walked 6-8 miles per day and the support and comfort were there. However, I noticed that after the second day, the toe stitching on both boots popped and frayed. This is not what I expected from a Red Wing boot.
