For a while I had issues with my foot being secured in the boots. They were the right size and all but the back of my foot would move up and down the back of my boots causing iritation/blisters. I would tie the lace tighter but that also was uncomfortable. It was almost as thought the tongue of the boots had to get worn in as while according to how tight you needed it to secure yourself firmly in the boot. I have to mention that there it practically no padding in this boot which probably had something to do w/ why my foot would slide up and down in them. The side walls and the tongue are made of just leather so I probably wouldn't use this boot for work. After a few months of wearing them in, they are now cumstom fit and I wear them quit often for personal use when I go out. I wear this boots with jeans. It looks more like dress shoes than work boots. I've been wearing it for 2 years by now.The only thing I am not very happy is the finishing. I was hoping the finishing would last longer and uniformly, but the front finish was faded after I wore it for about 6 months. The rear finish is still okay until now. I don't know it was me or the material. |
